It is a bit funny how some people use guilt trips to get others to do what they want. One argument that can be made is that their heart is in the right place, that they’re attempting to get a person to do the right thing, to help someone out, or to simply be a part of the human race for a change. But in most ways it’s a form of manipulation that, despite being essentially harmless, is highly annoying.

Honestly, if you’ve got to guilt someone into doing anything then the chances that they’re going to say ‘thank you’ are slim at best. And if it backfires on you, then don’t be surprised.
